Great news. I can’t wait for iPhone, iTV any longer. Streaming content from PC to TV has been a challenge so far because the efforts to build such a solution came from multiple sources. Notably chips from Intel, software from various sources and they failed to talk to each other. User experience was awful. I don’t think majority of TV viewers would switch to iTV any sooner. Apple would have to spend a great time “educating” users or creating a “need” as they did with iPod.
iTV in my opinion would strengthen more than anyone else AT&T’ s strategy of using broadband for content distribution.
